At Advance Diagnostics & Imaging, we offer 3–30 days of cardiac monitoring services to continuously track heart rhythm and identify abnormalities that may not be detected during a routine ECG.
Ambulatory cardiac monitoring helps detect irregular heart rhythms, hidden arrhythmias, and cardiovascular risks, particularly those associated with sleep and other daily activities.
Instructions
Cardiac monitoring is generally simple and non-invasive. Follow the instructions provided by our healthcare team regarding wearing and caring for the monitoring device. Keep the electrodes attached as instructed and maintain a record of any symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, chest discomfort, or shortness of breath. Depending on the device used, you may be able to continue most normal daily activities while being monitored.
