Echocardiogram
At Advance Diagnostics & Imaging, we provide advanced Echocardiogram services to evaluate the structure and function of the heart. Using ultrasound technology, an echocardiogram creates real-time images of the heart, helping physicians assess heart chambers, valves, blood flow, and overall cardiac function.
Echocardiography is a safe, non-invasive, painless, and radiation-free procedure that provides valuable information for diagnosing and monitoring various heart conditions.
Scan Procedure
During an echocardiogram, a sonographer applies a special gel to the chest and gently moves an ultrasound transducer over the skin. The transducer sends sound waves that create detailed images of the heart on a monitor. Doppler technology may also be used to evaluate the direction and speed of blood flow through the heart and its valves.

Things to Consider Before Getting an Echocardiogram:
Most standard echocardiograms require little or no preparation. Wear comfortable clothing and follow any instructions provided by your physician. During the scan, you may be asked to lie on your side while the sonographer places the transducer on different areas of your chest. The procedure is generally painless, involves no radiation, and usually takes around 30–60 minutes depending on the type of examination.
